Hi there,
I am Gianna Liao.
I was a sales assistant from Taiwan.
Now, I focus on improving the benefits for the public as a UI/UX designer.

All About Me
-
Currently pursuing a Master's degree in User Experience (UX) in the Business and Science program at Rutgers University.
-
During my college years, I successfully led a 100-person summer camp, honing my communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
-
I excel in problem-solving and have hands-on experience optimizing departmental workflows.
-
My attention to detail allows me to uncover user needs by observing subtle cues such as facial expressions and tone, which helps me create thoughtful and effective designs.
-
My passion for User Experience stems from these abilities and my curiosity to explore the intersection of design and user behavior. With a positive attitude and a growth-oriented mindset, I am eager to continue learning and growing as a UX professional.

Before being a UX designer...
Before being a UX designer, I worked as a barista at Starbucks and a sales assistant at a tech company.
These experiences taught me how to listen to customers, read micro-expressions from clients, solve problems fast, and make people feel good.
Of course, I learned collaboration through working with my co-workers to solve problems, and communication through serving clients. These experiences were meaningful and helped me become a more thoughtful designer today.

Besides the work.
Travel is my life.
I like to travel, which energizes me and enriches my life.
I have visited Japan, Korea, New York, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Boston, Orlando, Chicago and San Fransico.
I plan to visit Miami this year and keep curious to explore the world.
